Flatten the Curve: Stay At Home

What does flatten the curve mean?

Flattening the curve means to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Context: Currently, the amount of new confirmed cases in the United States is doubling everyday. By this rate, the amount of cases will continue to increase exponentially (graph on top).  We want to prevent the spread from increasing exponentially, so by flattening the curve (graph on bottom), we can limit the amount of cases from increasing exponentially.

What you should do?

Staying at home is the best way to prevent the spread of the virus and help flatten the curve of the amounts of new cases each day. If you still need to go to work or school, make sure you wear a face mask at all times to prevent the spread of the virus. If you are at home, stay at home and don't go out. Staying at home may be boring but we came up with a few ideas that can help everyone spend time at home.
